Not so mine.

The quality has really deteriorated. The draft beer was stale. The food thrown carelessly on the plate. In terms of taste it would be ok and the waitress did her best, remained nice and polite. It's better remembered.

Little carelessly furnished dining room. Menu manageable selection. Very good portions. The taste is rather 4 stars instead of the overall rating of 3 stars. On the Athenteller apparently post-cooked (or warmed up?) Gyros, thus more gyros "chips". The flatbread toasted baked gyros also toasted. Those who love crispbread will love it.

What we were allowed to experience in this restaurant today was underground. We visited the Xanthi restaurant with 4 adults and 2 small children. The waiting times were quite long, but still within limits. What followed was just cheeky ... My partner discovered a hair in her food. Well, can happen, turn a blind eye. A little later a second hair. We spoke politely to the waitress, the reaction was ... no excuse ... you took the plate without a word, a quick look at it and off to the kitchen. My partner told the waitress that she didn't want a new plate. The reaction would make hunger go away. A little later a visibly angry cook came to our table, no greeting, no introduction to a conversation, no apology etc. but only with an angry voice "where is hair here"! We politely showed him the hair in the soup as they say. Embarrassment No. 1) the cook replied that spices can also be. After a short discussion ... Embarrassment No.2) the hair can also come from the children, that sometimes happens when they are playing, a quick look at our kids, who are also snow blonde. Um, yes it's clear. When the question came again, "where's the hair here", it was enough for us ... we turned on our cell phone flashlights and pulled a short but black and clear hair from a piece of meat. ANSWER FROM THE COOK: Okay! But sometimes guests do it on purpose ... We all thought it wasn't serious now. Otherwise we were not alone and some guests were already smiling at him for his answers. The cook now gave us to understand that he now has a damage of 18 € and how he should get it back in now? Furious, he went back to the kitchen. The food was reduced by 50%. There was no excuse. We really are not petty people, a hair in the soup can really happen to the best cook, but to say it was spices, the children are to blame or to blame us for intentionally doing it, sorry that went too far. We were not disappointed with the food, but with the reaction we were given. We paid our bill and this restaurant now has 4 customers less.
